Cross-country skiing means: experiencing nature, relaxation and healthy exercise for the whole body when gliding through the snowed-in winter landscape. Gliding down the hill or skating uphill on the perfectly groomed cross-country tracks. While cross-country skiing is an endurance sport, biathlon is a combination of cross-country skiing and shooting, which requires stamina and precision.
These sports, which have originated in Norway, have become more and more popular all over the world, and well as in South Tyrol. Regardless of the Nordic sport you prefer, during a winter vacation in South Tyrol both sports can be enjoyed sourrounded by the breath-taking South Tyrolean landscape.
Enjoy the Nordic sports on perfectly groomed cross-country tracks in the sunny Schlinig Valley near Hotel Watles.
